Being the junior partner in a coalition government presents many challenges to a membership-driven party like the Liberal Democrats. Following discussions with leading Lib Dems, Dr. David Hall-Matthews (SLF Chair) and Dr. Prateek Buch (Head of Policy and Research) have published this review of how policy-making in the party works, and how it can be improved.
